Following several accolades in the recent ‘Legal 500’ legal listings, leading Worcester solicitors’ firm, Harrison Clark Rickerbys, has achieved a number of top standings in this year’s ‘Chambers UK Guide’ ranking of the major law firms in the United Kingdom.
In the Chambers UK Guide, produced annually by Chambers & Partners at the end of October, Harrison Clark Rickerbys was ranked in the top tier of Band 1 for Family Law, Licensing, Litigation, Private Client and Corporate for Hereford, Worcester and the surrounding areas; contributing towards a total of ten Band 1 rankings across the firm’s offices. In addition, ten of the firm’s lawyers were ranked as Band 1 in their respective practice areas, including senior partner Jonathan Brew, who is the only Band 1 family lawyer in the West Midlands outside of central Birmingham.
The Chambers Guide descriptions regarding Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ Family law team includes, ‘Undoubtedly one of the market leaders in the West Midlands.’ Individual accolades also include:
- Jonathan Brew, who is lauded as ‘a market leader’, praised for his unfailing diplomacy with clients;

Law firms and individual lawyers are ranked in bands from 1-6, with 1 being the best. The qualities on which rankings are assessed include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment, and other qualities most valued by the client.
