Thank you to everyone for supporting Garden Re-Leaf Day 2020 – and good luck!

With just a few days to go until Garden Re-Leaf Day (13th March), the organisers of the annual fundraising day, Greenfingers Charity, would like to extend their endless thanks to everyone that is supporting this flagship fundraising event and raising vital funds for the children’s hospice charity.

To date, almost 100 garden centres, schools, hotels and businesses have signed up to take part in the event. From cake sales and curry quiz nights, to sponsored walks, cycle challengers and raffles, the 2020 Garden Re-Leaf event is set to be spectacular display of support for the charity.

With so many embarking on a challenge or fundraising event the team at Greenfingers Charity would like to wish everyone the very best of luck, and to remind everyone that every penny raised will be put to good use as the charity plans more magical gardens in the grounds of children’s hospices right across the UK. From a play garden in St Oswald’s Children’s Hospice, Newcastle to the revamp of a memory garden at Rainbow House, Loughborough, Greenfingers has a hectic schedule of garden builds for 2020; a schedule that would not be possible without fundraisers such as those participating in Garden Re-Leaf Day 2020.

Director of Fundraising and Communications, Linda Petrons said: “We are immensely grateful to our friends in the gardening industry and beyond for their continued support of our flagship FUNdraising and awareness raising event, Garden Re-Leaf Day.  The generosity of so many individuals and businesses never cease to amaze us all. I’m really looking  forward to seeing walkers, riders and volunteers at Chilton Garden Centre on Friday and on behalf of us all at Greenfingers Charity I would also like to say a huge thank you and good luck to all those who are holding events this week to support the industry’s favourite charity. We really couldn’t do what we do without you – thank you!”
