Leading outdoor heating specialist La Hacienda, offered visitors a valuable point of difference at Glee this year as the only brand from the category exhibiting at garden retail’s biggest show of the year.
La Hacienda’s offering at Glee this year was also one of the most focused in terms of providing retailers with the latest trend-led products – the industrial style Pittsburgh firepits and upcycled Zanga rustic Indian firepits impressing retailers the most.
Other products that linked in to the latest aspirational home décor trends included brand new Terrariums, embossed metal signs, new decorative garden animals and stone effect mirrors.
La Hacienda’s Managing Director, Simon Goodwin, said: “Our range this year was very much influenced by trends, listening to consumers and also what our customers are looking for. Thanks to our product development team and extensive global import network we are able to source hundreds of alternative models. The feedback we received from visitors was that the new products were spot on in terms of relevancy to their customers, and at price points that will work for all sizes of business.”
La Hacienda added two new multi-function outdoor ovens for 2016 – a new deluxe Milano double skinned wood fired oven and smoker, and economical Genoa wood fired oven – covering the needs of customers large and small who visited the stand over the three days. The new Contemporary European chimeneas also won business with new and existing customers, as did the Artevasi range which drew great acclaim from retailers – including those that had already seen it previewed in the company’s dedicated showroom.
Simon Goodwin added: “Although the new products were of course the stars of the show, our Enamelled firepits, traditional cast iron and steel chimeneas, boxed Mexican clay and Skyline contemporary chimeneas are all still hot products – as is the Bakerstone Box which continues to grow in terms of popularity.”
