Automotive PR specialists and proud sponsor Hornby Whitefoot got to rub shoulders and celebrate with some of this year’s aftermarket winners at one of the highlights of the industry’s events calendar, the CAT Awards 2016.
Kimberley Hornby, Managing Director of one of the industry’s top communications agencies, presented Brake Engineering with ‘Supplier of the Year’ at the awards ceremony, held at Twickenham Stadium on 12th February.
The annual awards – part of publishing giant Haymarket Media Group that publishes the leading business magazine for the automotive aftermarket, Car & Accessory Trader (CAT) – acknowledge the best independent suppliers, with categories covering the full range of the industry.
The Wrexham-based braking supplier, established in 1981 and now employing 170 people,
was delighted to win the accolade, presented on stage by Kimberley, who said: “This is a great achievement for Brake Engineering; Hornby Whitefoot PR is extremely proud to present the honour to one of the independent aftermarket’s key players. We would also like to congratulate Haymarket Media for another successful CAT awards and very much look forward to next year!”
Other highlights of this year’s awards included the Lifetime Achievement Category, won by Mintex’s Sales Manager, Richard Gleghorn for 46 years in service and Northern Ireland’s legendary former rally driver, Paddy Hopkirk as guest speaker.
