Senior public relations professional Claire Brown has recently been promoted, and now heads up Hornby Whitefoot’s dedicated automotive portfolio.
Claire had previously held the role of PR Account Director at the company, working with a number of leading automotive brands within the UK and European aftermarket. This new appointment will see her building on Hornby Whitefoot’s representation in the industry, working more strategically, as well as developing an ongoing new business campaign. She will also continue to oversee existing key client accounts, a role she said she “thrives upon”.
The company has steadily built up a solid reputation for quality and affordability, supported by an enviable central relationship with the top brands, organisations and media at the heart of the automotive industry.
The new promotion comes at a time of exciting change for the leading agency, following former PR Director Kimberley Hornby taking charge of the business from Michelle Whitefoot, who stepped down as Managing Director last year. Since joining Whitefoot PR in 2014, Claire has been responsible for implementing and driving strategic campaigns for major automotive brands including Sogefi and DENSO UK & Europe.
Claire Brown said: “I’m thoroughly excited to be promoted to my new position and to be actively involved in helping to grow such a reputable agency. This role shall be a great challenge for me professionally and I am relishing what prospects lie in store for us as well as the industry, throughout 2016 and beyond.”
The Hornby Whitefoot PR team all work as part of a UK-wide networked team – with MD Kimberley based in Leicestershire, PR Director Claire Brown in cosmopolitan, well connected Cheltenham and PR Account Manager Robbie Cumming who has one of the most unique – and high tech – mobile offices in the country; aboard a vintage 42ft narrowboat.
