Greenfingers appoints new Events & Digital Fundraiser

The Greenfingers Charity has expanded its internal team with the appointment of Craig Fields as Events & Digital Fundraiser.

Craig has long been a supporter of Greenfingers and has previously created a promotional video for the charity to help communicate the work that it undertakes each year. Within his new role, Craig will provide support for the charity’s event fundraisers, including key events such as Garden Re-Leaf Day (24th March 2023) and the London Landmarks Half Marathon. As such he will be a regular, friendly presence for those taking part in these events.  Craig will introduce new fundraising collateral and will be on hand to answer any questions they might have, to ensure events run smoothly and optimises their full potential.

In addition, Craig will be working alongside Garden Connect to provide valuable support with the website  www.greenfingers.org.uk – where recent updates have already improved the user experience.

Talking about his new role, Craig said: “I am so excited to join the Greenfingers team. It’s such a worthwhile cause and I have heard about how passionate and selfless many of the supporters are so I’m keen to learn more and to support these efforts.”

Linda Petrons, Director of Fundraising & Communications at the Greenfingers Charity added: “Craig will be a real asset for our team. His enthusiasm and understanding of the work we do will pay dividends, and I know that our eventers will be in safe hands. We look forward to Craig getting stuck in and to making his mark within our organisation.”
