The Glee Buyers Power List has been set-up to recognise the individual buyers and buying teams who have gone above and beyond to make a difference within the garden retail industry this year. Nominations for the 2016 awards have been flooding in, and details of those shortlisted have been announced by Glee’s organising team at i2i Events.
Formed of the top nominations in each of the five categories, the shortlist is representative of the leading 40 buyers and buying teams from retailers across the country. The shortlist is now open to the industry to cast their vote for their top three buyers or teams in each category. These votes will then be counted, with the buyer or team with the most votes being crowned as individual category winners. A ‘winner of winners’ will also be announced during a special Buyers Power List ceremony taking place on Tuesday 13th September, at Glee 2016.
Voting for the top buyer or teams featured in the Glee Buyers Power List shortlist closes on August 19th. Casting your vote couldn’t be easier. Simply log onto http://www.gleebirmingham.com/Content/Glee-BUYERS-POWER-LIST-2016

Talking about the Buyers Power List, Glee’s event director, Matthew Mein said: “Launched last year, the Buyers Power List has fast become an integral part of Glee, and the results of this year’s awards are already highly anticipated. The shortlist showcases the hard work and commitment that each retail buyer or team has undertaken in the last 12 months, and we’re so pleased to be able to provide a platform on which this dedication can be celebrated and rewarded. I look forward to revealing the winners next month at Glee 2016.”
