The GIMA team, featuring our PR Account Manager Robbie Cumming and clients including Ascential’s Matthew Mein and Deco-Pak/GIMA council member Craig Hall reached the final of the event, beating three other top teams from the gardening industry.
The ‘Play the Pitch’ event hosted by Leicester City Football Club at the King Power stadium, managed to raise around £15,000 for Perennial, a charity that supports those that work in the horticultural industry who fall on hard times.
Managing Director Kimberley Hornby supported the event, attending with many others from the horticulture and garden leisure industry.
Special thanks to clients Deco-Pak and Ascential (Glee)
Deco-Pak fielded their own team but were forced to loan out Marketing Manager Craig Hall to the GIMA finalists – who all enjoyed wearing proper match kits arranged by the aggregate specialists.
Glee’s Matthew Mein was in top playing form, also employing the full gamut of his managing skills (Matthew is also a Director for Welling FC!), and the always effervescent Fernanda Pinto was on hand to cheer on the team and captured these excellent images for social media.
