GIMA launches new ‘Meet the Associate’ event to strengthen member connections

GIMA is proud to unveil a brand-new networking initiative, Meet the Associate, building on the proven success of its Meet the Buyer format. This exciting addition to the GIMA events calendar is designed to help Full Members connect directly with the growing network of Associate Members – creating meaningful partnerships and uncovering valuable services to support business growth.

Taking place on Tuesday 15th July 2025, the event will be held virtually via Zoom. Full GIMA Members will have the opportunity to book a series of one-to-one, 15-minute video meetings with participating Associate Members. These focused sessions will allow members to explore the breadth of expertise available within the Associate network, from logistics and recruitment to marketing and PR, compliance, retail solutions, and beyond.

GIMA Membership Ambassador Tony Kersey said: “Our new event is a fantastic opportunity for Members to tap into the specialist support available through our diverse Associate network. As we continue to grow this side of our membership, it’s vital that our Full Members understand the range of services on offer, many of which could prove pivotal in overcoming current challenges or unlocking new opportunities.”

All Full Members are encouraged to apply, with no limit on the number of meetings that can be requested. Whether you’re looking for expert advice, specialist services, or simply want to expand your industry network, Meet the Associate promises to deliver valuable conversations tailored to your business needs.
