There were celebrations across the garden industry as Woodlodge won the Supplier of the Year category at the annual GIMA Awards which took place at Celtic Manor in Newport on 12th July.
In a fiercely fought category, sponsored by the Garden Centre Association, Woodlodge scooped the prestigious accolade for the first time, further cementing their position as the UK’s leading pot and gardenware supplier.
The judges, made up of leading industry experts, said: “Woodlodge continue to deliver a great service and GCA members often remark that they go beyond what they would expect from one of their suppliers. The team at Woodlodge always work really hard for customers and genuinely help drive their businesses. The company also offers great stock, a reliable and efficient service, all managed by a great team, made up of knowledgeable people.”
Woodlodge’s support to retailers is second to none, offering bespoke POS printing services, effective benching and display stand solutions, as well as expert advice from a team of Woodlodge merchandisers who travel the country to work closely with garden centre staff, helping them to display product ranges to their full potential, refreshing POS and cleansing the stock.
The company continues to go from strength to strength, having witnessed year-on-year growth. They currently distribute to over 2,000 garden centres and retail outlets nationwide and have had to increase the capacity of their warehouses in Tetbury to meet with demand.
Their popular ranges include Feather, a collection of lightweight pots made of recycled plastic and painted different colourful glazes, the flagship Heritage Garden range, and charity partnerships with Greenfingers and Marie Curie. There are brand new, innovative indoor planters coming to market, following on from the resurgence of houseplants.
