With a handful of weeks to go until Garden Re-Leaf Day 2023 (Friday, March 24th), supporters from across the garden retail sector (and beyond!) are busy getting ready for their day of FUNdraising. Here we find out more about who will be supporting this year’s event in aid of the children’s hospice garden charity, Greenfingers.

With just over a week to go, walkers and cyclists from across the garden retail sector are busy limbering up as they prepare to tackle the 2023 Garden Re-Leaf Sponsored Walk and Cycle Challenge (24th March 2023).

The Garden Re-Leaf Sponsored Walk has long been an integral part of the annual fundraising calendar that supports of the Greenfingers charity. Ahead of the 2023 event, a new ‘North Walk’ joins the line-up in the hope to encourage even more intrepid walkers to take up the challenge.

The Greenfingers Charity’s Board of Trustees has further expanded with the inclusion of Richard Claxton, GP and therapeutic garden designer.

Back by popular demand, the annual Greenfingers Charity Fundraising Dinner has proved so popular that only a handful of tickets now remain for the December 1st event.   

Back by popular demand, the annual Greenfingers Charity Fundraising Dinner is returning on December 1st with tickets already being snapped up by supporters of the children’s hospice garden charity. 

Next weekend (10th – 11th September 2022) 15 members of the Evergreen Garden Care team will be donning their walking boots and backpacks as they attempt to tackle the infamous Three-Peaks Challenge, all with the aim of raising over £10,000 for the Greenfingers charity.

Yesterday (Wednesday 27th April), the 62nd Greenfingers Charity garden at Tŷ Hafan children’s hospice – one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities, offering care to children with life-limiting conditions and their families throughout Wales – was officially opened by BBC Radio 2’s resident gardener, Terry Walton.
